Ski-wax hut

Base Camp 49 has a convenient ski waxing hut on the property so you can get prepped to ski right out your door! At Base Camp 49, you're just steps away from the John's Way cross-country ski trail as well as the Methow Community trail connecting you to the entire ski trail system with no cars involved. Need some wax assistance? Use the sign up board in our Ski Wax Hut for waxing services.

For your convenience, each casita has a “pet kit” onsite including a dog bed, waterproof blankets for the bed and couch, and pet dishes. Crates are available upon request.

Parking & Electric Vehicle Charging

The Sandy Butte Casita (7A) is known for its morning sun and afternoon shade. It is the closest casita to the ski wax hut and covered parking.

7b flagg mountain

If a quiet, pristine getaway is what you're looking for, this casita is our most secluded and is situated closer to the river than 7A. This casita enjoys morning sun and afternoon shade.

This casita receives the most afternoon sun. If you're looking for a hearty dose of vitamin D, this is the casita for you!

11b lucky jim bluff

This casita offers an extra parking spot (3 total) and is situated closer to the river than 11A. You'll enjoy amazing mountain views and a larger grass area. You also get the best of both worlds with both morning and afternoon sun along with shade.

Are pets allowed?

Yes! Well-behaved dogs are welcome. We charge a pet fee of $50 per dog per stay. We'll get in touch with you before your stay to confirm the number and type of dogs, and will request the pet fees at that time. Pets must be leashed while outside for safety and courtesy to other guests. There is a pet waste repository on site, please ensure you clean up after your pet.
